Bank perspective
By e+ Front End deployment Bank has unique oportunity to offer to the market fast, scalable and reliable finanacial transaction processing system. e+frontEnd supports eVoucher , eTopup and payment card/loyallty cards services for up to 5 000 points of sell and up to 5 mobile operators and financial institutions in basic licence with throughout of 50 000 transactions in peak hour.
Merchant perspective
Merchant or merchant networks can join to the system by signing contract with Bank or service provider. When a merchant joins the system network, he orders a desired number of eftPos terminals. Merchant can offer to the market payment/loyalty card services and topup services.
Service provider can request from merchant monthly/yearly membership fee on terminal basis but it is up to the Bank and service provider business case. Merchant will get from Bank or service provider fee per each eTopup/eVoucher transaction on his network of eftPOS terminals.
Bank or service provider can offer to the merchant credit or debit account on system depending on merchant classification.
Every merchant can login on the e+frontEnd online portal and monitor behavior of his network such as number of transactions, limits etc.
End User Prospective
End user buys a eTopup/eVoucher service at one of locations that participate in the topup program (e.g., bank’s branch, hotel, tourist bureau or a store).
Alternatively, the purchaser may buy service online through Internet WEB site of Service provider or on any other affiliate web site.
For loyalty card services end user will provide card to the merchant acceptor and pay goods and services under rules defined by card issuer.
Loyalty cards
Loyalty card schemas are supported by e+frontEnd. e+frontEnd provides turn key solution including application forms, card data creation, issuing procedures, accounts maintenance, acquiring services on eftPos and ATM terminals. ePlus Systems can provide card layout design to service provider.
ePlus Front End Architecture
e+ Systems Front End (e+frontEnd) is a system for Automated Sale and Payment collection, which in a secure and comfortable manner performs real time authorizations of transactions made via the ATM, eftPOS terminal, Internet and/or Mobile phone in order to recharge the purchaser's mobile account. e+frontEnd is also a 3-D system for the electronic processing of so-called eCommerce and mCommerce transactions which, at request of the bank, may prepare and send data about the Internet transactions for the clearing, both to external clearing centre and the Bank itself, when so-called on-us transactions are at stake.

e+frontEnd receives, processes and responds to authorized requests in various types of communication in real time. Requests for authorization of eTopup transactions made from eftPOS terminals, installed on real points of sales via PSTN, GPRS, PPP over Ethernet or WiFi. Requests may also come via SMS messages or from mobile phones (Figure 3)
Security
e+Front End System is fully created and maintained in accordance with PCIDSS standards (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) jointly defined by the leading world payment systems.
This practically means that we stricly adhere to 12 following principles as set out in the prescribed standards:
1. We have installed and regularly maintain Firewall aimed at data protection
2. We do not use vendor services, i.e. services of the third party for management and protection of system passwords or other security parameters.
3. All saved data are encrypted and protected
4. All communication through public network transferring of sensitive information is encrypted.
5. We use anti-virus software and regularly update it.
6. We develop and maintain own security system on the level of applicative software.
7. We have restrictive access to data
8. Each person who access data is previously allotted the unique ID
9. We have restrictive system for physical control of access and presence evidence in the facilities where sensitive data are stored.
10. We perform 24/7 tracking, control and evidence on each access to network resources and sensitive data.
11. We regularly test the security system and processes
12. We maintain and advance security measures for protection of sensitive data.
Commercial terms
Prerequisite for using e+frontEnd is that the Service provider and e+ Systems sign an Agreement on using e+frontEnd, which besides other things, also defines the following issues:
1. Number of input channels which has to be supported (eftPOS, Web, ATM, mobilePhone)
2. Number of mobile operators and financial institutions which has to be supported and integrated with e+front End.
3. Merchant network estimation.
4. Merchant network model and structure.
5. Estimated number of transactions per day and estimation for peak hour throughput.
6. Clearing and settlement requests with mobile operators and banks.
7. Clearing and settlement with merchant networks.
8. Accounting system and level of integration between e+FrontEnd and accounting system.
Depending on the Service providers answers/choice on mentioned questions, the usual method of tariffing is agreed and licence will be issued, which may be based on level of processing services.
