Bank/Service provider perspective

Bank can use neon gateway as inhouse resource or as SaS (outsourced Software as Service).
In addition to SMPP neon gateway can communicate with mobile users over dedicated GSM gateway/gateways
hardware (Figure 1). neon system enables to bank clients easy way to get predefined or
to request ad-hoc information regarding accounts, payment cards and mortgages.
Information can be related to events such as card transaction event, income on account event,
card statement generation event or outstanding bill event.

(Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) jointly defined by the leading world payment systems.

Predefined information 
Bank client can apply for neon Bank service in the bank branch filling appropriate form or over e-bank system. 
Neon Bank system can send to user information regarding payment card events (eftpos, atm transaction,
online transaction, card statement generation).            
Mortgage installment information can be sent to user as reminder every month.
Every income greater/lower then predefined amount can be sent as notification to user. 

Ad-hoc information
SMS4Bank system using predefined SMS short code number (for example 1234) accepts ad-hoc
requests from bank users. Users can request information regarding account balances,
last transaction amount, last income amount, list of few last transactions. User can
request ad-hoc information in very simple way by sending certain code via SMS on bank
short code (for example 1234).
In the same manner bank users can change primary bank account by sending SMS code on
neon Bank system short code number.
In order to get balance information on primary account user can simple send SMS text
“BALANCE”  on short code number 1234.
